When someone presses the doorbell, both the doorbell and the base station will ring to alert you. While it's not possible to adjust the volume and ringtone settings directly on the doorbells, you have the option to customize these settings on the Base Station. This allows you to differentiate which doorbell is being pressed based on the unique ringtones produced by the Base Station.
To access the doorbell settings, follow these steps: Select "Ringtone and Volume" to make changes to the volume and ringtone settings. WUUK provides a selection of preset ringtones for you to choose from.
Additionally, WUUK now supports customizing your preferred ringtones. Follow these steps to set your favorite ringtones.
On WUUK Android APP:
- Access the doorbell settings and select "Ringtone and Volume"
- Click the + icon located in the top right corner.
- Select the ringtone files from your phone and upload them to the WUUK app.
- Once the upload is successful, you can choose your desired ringtone from the list.
On WUUK iOS APP:
- You'll need to upload files to the WUUK app via a PC. Here's how to do it on both Windows and Mac:
On Windows:
Download and install the latest iTunes application from Apple.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
Click on your iPhone to view it.
Select "File Sharing."
Choose "WUUK.", then click "Add Files" and select a file from your computer.
On Mac:
Connect your iPhone to your Mac.
Click on "Files" at the top, then drag and drop the file into the WUUK folder.
- After performing the above operations, open the WUUK app and click the + icon located in the top right corner.
- Choose the file and tap Next, then tap to Save the ringtone files.
- Once uploaded successfully, you can select your preferred ringtone from the list.
Note: If the upload process fails, please ensure the following:
1）Verify that your file size is less than 120KB. Files exceeding this size may not upload successfully.
2）The quality of the audio files can also impact the upload process. If you encounter issues, you may want to consider using different audio files that meet the necessary criteria for successful uploading.
By following these steps, you can customize the volume and ringtone settings on the WUUK Base Station to suit your preferences and easily identify which doorbell is being rung by the unique ringtone you've chosen.
