The WUUK Wireless Cam pro contains infrared lights and spotlights to support B&W night vision and Color night vision. And we could set the related features on the App to manually or automatically have the lights turned on to meet your requirements in different usage scenarios.
Night Vision Feature
Kindly click the gear icon to go to Camera Setting, and tap Night Vision.
Night Vision Feature decides whether to turn on the light or which lights will be on when the camera is triggered by the moving objects in the dark environment, especially at night. And there are 3 options:
1. Off
Neither the infrared light nor the spotlights will be on, and the camera relies upon the environmental lights while recording the videos.
2. Spotlight Night Vision
With Spotlight Night Vision on, infrared lights will be automatically enabled when the camera is triggered to record, as well as the spotlight. The picture and the videos will be saved in color.
3. B&W Night Vision
With B&W Night Vision on, infrared lights will be automatically enabled when the camera is triggered to record. The picture and the videos will be saved in black and white.
Spotlight Switch(Light icon)
When referring to the Spotlight feature, it's a switch to allow you to turn on/off the spotlight manually while using Live View, which won't change your night vision settings.
While accessing the live view at night, the infrared lights are automatically enabled, so we can view what's happening in the dark environment. Plus, if you want to view the color picture, you could manually turn on the spotlight.
Note the Spotlight switch is disabled by default. You have to turn it on manually each time you quit the live view and access it again.
