The doorbell is not scanning the QR code. What should I do?

The QR code scan, if it is finished correctly, shall almost immediately make the chime announce "connecting to the internet".

If not, it means the previous steps got skipped for some reason.

Here are a few steps to pay extra attention to during the pairing process:

Before you start the pairing process once again, unplug the chime and plug it back in and wait for "System Ready" sound.

Move the doorbell, the chime and your phone close, so you can hear the announcements from both sides right away.

Make sure you hear 'ready to scan' from the chime after pressing the set button for 3 seconds.
Make sure you hear 'ready to scan your QR code' from the doorbell. It is a long announcement, and slightly different from the chime's announcement.
Make sure the chime has a flashing red light when you scan your QR code, which means the system is in pairing mode. The pairing mode lasts about 1 minute, so you may run through the guide quickly.
Click the QR code in the app to enlarge it on a full screen. Put your doorbell close to your phone and point it to the QR code. Slowly move your doorbell away from the phone to try to scan the QR code from different distances.
