Baby Movement
Active movement, kicking, or frequent repositioning can temporarily interrupt the sensor’s ability to capture consistent readings.
This is normal and can occasionally lead to:
- Delayed updates
- Brief gaps in readings
- Temporary notifications
Readings are typically the most stable when your baby is calm or sleeping.
Poor Sensor Contact
The sensor works by using light to measure physiological signals through the skin. If there is limited contact between the sensor and your baby’s foot, accuracy may be affected.
Things that may reduce signal quality include:
- Socks worn incorrectly
- Dirt or debris on the sensor
- Thick lotions or creams on the skin
Environmental Conditions
External factors such as strong ambient light, excessive moisture, or wireless interference may occasionally impact performance.
For best results:
- Keep the sensor clean and dry
- Avoid direct bright light on the sensor
- Ensure the Base Station and app maintain a stable connection
Low Circulation or Cold Feet
Cold feet or reduced circulation can make it more difficult for the sensor to detect signals clearly. In these situations, readings may fluctuate or become temporarily unavailable.
If your baby’s feet feel cold, try gently warming them before use.
Tips for Best Performance
To help improve accuracy:
- Use the correct sock size for your baby
- Check sock placement before each sleep session
- Keep the sensor clean and fully charged
- Ensure your app and device firmware are up to date
