Try to power off the doorbell and power it up again. Then ring the doorbell a few times.
If you still DO NOT hear "Ready to scan your QR code" from the doorbell, long-press the SET button on the right side of the chime for 3 seconds until hearing the chime announces "Ready to Scan" again (for the 2nd time).
If at this time, your doorbell is powered on, you should hear "Ready to scan the QR code" from the doorbell and proceed with the rest of the setup process.
