WUUK Smart Doorbell automatically records videos when it detects motion. Videos are securely uploaded to the cloud. They are accessible for a rolling 48 hours with no subscription or monthly fees required.
If you want to store video footage other than those within the 48 rolling hours, then WUUK provides 2 options for your choice:
1) Choose to use an SD card, so all the video clips are safely stored on the SD card.
If you do not want to use the cloud storage, and ONLY store your videos on an SD card locally, you can turn off the cloud storage in the WUUK app.
In this case, no video will be uploaded to the cloud and will be all on the SD card.
2) We also offer an optional Cloud Storage service for $2.99/month per device.
The option allows you to store 7-day rolling footage onto the cloud and access it within that time span. To purchase the subscription, log in on www.wuuklabs.com and choose which device you want to pay for.
The purchase of the subscription plan will trace back the footage from 7 days ago. If you need to recover any footage from the past 7-days, please make sure the purchase day is no longer than that rolling date range.
How to toggle on/off cloud Storage:
- You can set cloud storage settings for an individual device on the APP starting from the version of IOS V3.0.11 or Android V3.0.17.
Dashboard -> the Gear icon next to your doorbell's name -> Cloud Storage

- Before the version of IOS V3.0.11 or Android V3.0.17.
