To meet different user scenarios, we've released Snooze mode and Security mode to allow you to set a fixed schedule to receive or not receive the notifications and fix a private time frame for the camera to take or not take a recording.
The snooze feature disables the reception of the notification on your phone without editing the device settings or changing permissions. Meanwhile, the camera is still working.
Thus, you can turn it on when you don't want to be disturbed by too many notifications for a fixed period.
The Security Mode disables the reception of the notification on your phone or stops the video recording without editing the device settings or changing permissions. You can set a schedule to have the device run according to your settings.
How to Set
On the WUUK app, go to the Security tab to set your security modes:
You can customize the mode settings according to your preferences by tapping the + icon in the upper right corner to add a new mode.
There are two default modes, Home and Away, for your reference.
The page has two tabs, Device, and Mode.
The Mode needs to be added the necessary 2 elements
- Name: Name the mode
- Description: Add a reference
You can choose to turn on/off the camera function during the desired time/date. Time can be set to minutes.
When you enable video recording, the device will detect motions and save events during the time period you set. Disabled otherwise.
When you disable video recording, the device won't capture motions and there is no event saved in the app during the time period you set. But the live view can still be accessed. And the indicator light is on.
After setting the mode, you can choose a device to apply to the mode.
